Caleb was born into a pastor's home and accepted Christ at the age of 12 on the final night of a Vacation Bible School. He grew up all over the U.S. and was instrumental in helping his father in the early years as a Full-time Traveling Evangelist. Caleb felt his calling to preach in middle school at a summer bible camp, and later attended Baptist Bible College where he met his wife Amanda. They married in the summer of 2007 and welcomed their first child, Jack, in 2008. In 2009, Caleb graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Pastoral Studies and they accepted their first youth ministry position. Their second son, Joshua, was born in 2010, followed by Evelyn in 2013, Ethan in 2014, and Evan in 2016. Caleb has served as a youth pastor for eight years in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. He and Amanda spent a year on a church plant team in Hilliard, Ohio. Caleb and Amanda felt called to plant a church in Canal Winchester, Ohio, in October of 2016. They moved to the area in July, 2018.

Amanda was raised in a Christian home as well. She was born in Indiana, but her family moved frequently, so she grew up all along the East Coast. She was led to the Lord at age 13 and has such a passion for sharing His blessings on her life with others. She is a sweet-spirited, very down-to-earth girl. She has her own small business and loves building authentic relationships with people. One of her greatest joys is being able to stay home and raise her five children. She has a love for music and reading.
Michael was born into a godly family that was involved in serving their church. He was saved at the age of 13 while attending a power team evangelism night. It wasn’t until the age of 21 at a missions conference that he surrendered his life to the Gospel ministry of missions. While attending college to study missions, he served on several missions teams to Alaska and Costa Rica. Michael and his wife Lizzy have serve in the local churche and grow in Christ within their community groups. They moved to Ohio in May of 2018 and are excited to see what God has for Canal Winchester and Discovery City Church.

Lizzy was raised in a loving home where Christ was the number one priority each and every day. She is the youngest of four brothers, one of whom is Caleb. She came to accept Christ when she was 13 years old during a revival where her father was preaching. Lizzy continually looks for ways to serve others and show Christ’s love through various ministries in the community. She has served in youth ministry, children’s ministry, and media ministry; wherever God leads her she is willing to serve. Lizzy has been in Springfield, MO, for the past three years where she attended school and served in her local church. During her time there she met Michael Cook, and they later married in January of 2017. After prayer, a step of faith, and their family's support, they are extremely excited to move and hit the ground running in the community of Canal Winchester.

A Malone University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education, Ben taught band and general music in grades 5-12 for several years before being called into ministry. Since then, he has served as worship leader, youth director, and guest preacher in several churches. He's also led worship in many church and community venues with a multi-denominational, Christian group. Ben has always felt a strong draw towards church planting, but the right opportunity never came — until God connected him with Caleb. Ben and his wife, Jackie, have two children, Isaac and Nora. They are both very excited to see what God is going to do in Canal Winchester.

Ever enthusiastic about loving God and loving others, diving headfirst into new ventures, and wordsmithing, Jackie comes prepared to lead communications for Discovery City Church. She has been a beloved daughter of the King since she gave her life to Christ during her elementary years. As a teenager, she was deeply inspired by those who showed intense passion for the Lord. She prayed for her head knowledge to become the kind of heart knowledge she saw displayed in the most devoted Christ-followers. Through an increasing love for His word and a faith continually developed through difficult trials, the Lord has taught her heart to burn for Him.
In addition to serving kids, youth, and women through the Church, Jackie has worked in the business world for nearly 15 years. She has her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and has spent most of her career in digital marketing. Jackie’s greatest earthly joys are serving alongside and laughing with her husband, Ben, and dance-in-the-dark parties with her children, Isaac and Nora.
